Macmillan Patient and Carer Support Worker

Bev Jones is our Macmillan patient and carer information and support worker for the area. She’s available to support patient, carers and their families through their cancer journey. This includes support with information, advice, benefits, blue badges, and liaison with social services, district nurses, hospitals, palliative care, group activities as well as a whole network of support.

She has access to grants, counselling services, emotional support as well as the whole of Macmillan. This integrated service within Bridgend Carers Centre means there’s many avenues that can be explored in order to provide exemplary support.
